THE LAST OF* is a band created to get people up and dancing.  The repertoire we play has a solid rooting in the land of funk mixed with an astonishing ability to drop in and out of a smorgasboard of styles.  We lust after dirty rhythm section grooves and incredible horn section dexterity.  If you haven't yet caught a live show, get to one, QUICK.

Formed in early 2010 by MD Steve Burnett, the band has since played at a huge array of fantastic venues throughout the UK.  The adaptability and flair of these young, high flying musicians, makes THE LAST OF* an exciting choice for parties, weddings, festivals or corporate events. Testimony to this is the variety and vibrancy built into this band's repertoire: fancy a bit of rock, klezmer, swing, disco, hard-bop or dubstep?  These are all hard wired into the sets.  All the covers are bespoke arrangements for this line-up and are brimmed with unique style.
